General route:

Exit the airport onto Airport Way and follow signs to Highway 97. Kelowna International Airport

Turn RIGHT onto Highway 97 South toward Kelowna.

Continue on Highway 97 through the city (it becomes Harvey Ave / Highway 97).

Stay on Highway 97 South past downtown Kelowna and toward East Kelowna / Crawford Falls.

Look for Stewart Rd E on your left (east side) — the road continues eastward into the rural area of East Kelowna.

Turn LEFT onto Stewart Rd E and follow it to #4640.

Stewart Rd E runs east–west from Highway 97 into the countryside of southeast Kelowna.

Approximate drive: ~20–30 minutes

General route:

Head east out of downtown toward Highway 97 / Harvey Ave.

Turn LEFT (north) onto Highway 97 / Harvey Ave.

Stay on Highway 97 north/east out of the core — the road curves toward southeast Kelowna.

Continue until you see Stewart Rd E (look for rural intersections).

Turn LEFT onto Stewart Rd E and follow it east to #4640.

Stewart Road East is a quieter road that runs out into the rural part of East Kelowna — GPS guidance can be very helpful once you leave the Highway 97 corridor.

🚌 Public Transit Note

Transit service in East Kelowna is limited, and most rides require a car. Some local bus routes go near East Kelowna, but there’s minimal transit directly on Stewart Road East.

These locations are close to each other in central Kelowna; guests can easily visit either once they arrive downtown.

🚗 Driving Directions (from 4640 Stewart Road East to Kelowna General Hospital )

Head west on Stewart Road East toward Chute Lake Road.

Turn right onto Chute Lake Road.

Continue straight and merge onto Highway 97 North (BC-97 N) toward Kelowna.

Stay on Highway 97 as you enter downtown Kelowna.

Turn right onto Pandosy Street.

Follow Pandosy Street for about 1.2 km into the downtown core.

📍 Kelowna General Hospital will be on your right at 2268 Pandosy Street.

For BC Cancer – Kelowna, continue past the hospital and turn right onto Royal Avenue — the centre is on Royal Ave at 399.

Signage: Both hospital and cancer centre are well-signed off Pandosy Street and Royal Avenue.

Parking: Visitor and patient parking is available around both facilities (some paid, some free for patients).

Landmark: The cancer centre is directly adjacent to Kelowna General Hospital and is connected by walkways for convenience.

Driving Directions (from 4640 Stewart Road E. to Mission Village at the Ponds) Shopping

Destination: Mission Village at the Ponds (940–1080 Frost Road, Kelowna, BC)

Approximate route (by car):

Head east on Stewart Road East toward Chute Lake Road.

Turn left onto Chute Lake Road and follow it north.

Merge onto South Perimeter Way via the ramp — this new road connects to the Mission area and improves access.

Take the Frost Road exit.

Continue on Frost Road west — Mission Village at the Ponds will be on your right around Gordon Drive.

Turn right into the shopping centre parking area.
